He brings a solid academic foundation including a Bachelor of Business Administration from Memorial University (2004) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick (2009), to every matter he handles.

Known for his collaborative management style, tech‑savvy approach, and inventive research techniques, John consistently strives to give clients the attentive service and genuine care they deserve.

In 2026 John was appointed as King’s Counsel recognizing his expertise and commitment to the legal profession. John’s advocacy skills are evident as he represents clients with vigor and determination. He has appeared in all levels of Court in the Province including the Court of Appeal, as well as before various Administrative Tribunals.

In 2017 John’s role grew into Director of Morrow Morrow & Crosbie, where he works closely with the team to nurture a culture that supports both our lawyers and staff in delivering top‑tier legal counsel. He stays actively engaged with the broader profession as a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association.

A proud native of Clarke’s Beach, John continues to call the community home, where he lives with his wife, Janice, and their three children. He feels fortunate to work and raise his family in rural Newfoundland and Labrador, a place and community he loves deeply. Outside of the office, John spends time on the mat practicing Tae Kwon Do alongside his children. A fourth-dan black belt, he now enjoys passing on his knowledge and passion to others.
