2018 saw the addition of John O (as we call him to distinguish from John Crosbie) to our firm. John’s extensive knowledge and experience in a host of legal areas, including real estate and property, personal injury, and wills & estates, is a continuing asset to both our team and our clients. In addition, he has an extensive political background, adding to the wealth of experience and know-how within our organization.
Prior to beginning his legal career, John worked as both a teacher and school principal in rural Newfoundland before attending law school at the University of Windsor. He was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 1982.
John has also enjoyed a successful political career as a Member of the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly and Cabinet Minister from 1996-2007. In addition, he is the former Chairperson of NL Hydro, the former Chairperson and CEO of the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation.
Since joining Morrow Morrow & Crosbie, John has enjoyed working with clients both locally and province-wide. He has four sons and ten grandchildren and lives in Marysvale with his wife Helen.
