As a founding member of the firm, Judy continues with her legal practice focusing mostly on accident & injury.
She graduated from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 1985 and was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 1986. She began practicing law in St. John’s before relocating to Bay Roberts, where she and Bill established the firm that is now Morrow Morrow & Crosbie. With an over-30 year legal career, Judy prides herself on her work in personal injury, family law and real estate law.
In addition, Judy has assisted on a variety of community organizations and boards over the decades including Co-Chairperson of the 2020 now 2024 Newfoundland and Labrador Summer Games.
Notably, Judy was Chairperson of the NL 2019 Workers’ Compensation Statutory Review Committee. She has also served as the Chief Adjudicator for the Newfoundland and Labrador Human Rights Commission, Vice Chairperson/Secretary of the Newfoundland and Labrador Legal Aid Commission and Chairperson of its Appeal Board. She also taught as a part-time instructor with Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador for a number of years. Judy was honoured to be appointed Queen’s Counsel for Newfoundland and Labrador in 2017. She has also been highly rated in both legal ability and ethical standards through the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings.
